20/04/2021|Week 04
After changing my storyline for the soundscape I then began to explore and check for sounds from freesound.org.

27/04/2021|Week 05
This week I had completed the first scene for the morning commute and presented it for feedback.

here is the Audio file and the feedback is given below.

Lecturer's Feedback :
Mr.Razif commented on my scene 1 mentioning that I need to have more ambient sounds for different locations like the room, bathroom, and kitchen and that I should also include the doors opening and closing so we know when we have left and entered locations so it's easier to follow.

04/05/2021|Week 06
Based on last week's feedback I had amended my soundscape and completed the rest of the scenes and fused them all into one to make one single mixdown.
Fig 1.0 Mixdown

10/05/2021|Week 07
This week was submission week I had submitted right on time, although the only issue I faced was overlapping the 3 minutes timing by about 20-30mins.
We needed to upload the Adobe audition session file and folder, and the stereo mixdown file in mp3 to google drive and share the link on TIMES.

Anyways here is my final Mixdown for the soundscape below enjoy!!!

  1. dude what soundscape are we looking at here? I believe this story is focusing way too much on the action instead of the surrounding. Remember that the story line for this project is meant to help give meaning to the environment. For example, if i were to create a city+transport soundscape, without a story line, it will be a bit difficult to structure and sequence the sound. I can have something like, a character going to work. At the beginning, he's in the bus heading to the nearest bus stop to his office. The bus is moving slowly due to the traffic congestion. Finally he reaches his stop, got off the bus. continues walking on the side of the road and waited for the traffic light to cross... so from here alone i can create the soundscape of his journey from the traffic sound in the bus to the sound when he's walking outside. Since the character is moving, the surrounding sound is also will not be static. So try not to approach the project as if we are creating a scene for a marvel movie (this will happen later in the semester). It's okay to have some actions but u know, too much of one thing is not advisable

  2. Okay Sir, I'll do some brainstorming and find a simpler soundscape i can do.
