Week 1-Stop Motion Reviews
There wasn't No lecture but we were told to pick out 3 of our favorite stop motion and explain why. So here are my Top 3.
1. Chain Bunny by Takena
I chose one of this as my favorite because the one the camera angles used I don't really know how to say the names but I know it is important when shooting anything so that was used very well here in this video and the Storyline is quite interesting having a Horror and gore theme to it. Sound-wise it helps the viewers know whats going on and sets the mood for anticipation and whatnot.
2. Fresh Guacamole by PES
This short animated Clay motion and he makes use of things that you wouldn't expect to be considered fruits but he makes it work e.g A grenade as an Avocado and dice etc. Although this was a short animation the quality and the smooth flow was nice to watch and the sound of the actions and objects sound real and believable, Quite Professional.
3. Negative Spaces by Co-directors Max Porter and Ru Kuwahata
It’s a stop-motion work about a father and son bonding over the shared ritual of suitcase packing for his frequent business trips. And bonded over packing suitcases efficiently and has won quite a number of Awards overall the smoothness of the processes and the sound design is impressive and that includes the voice acting the story of a short film is based off an original poem called "Negative Space".
I added one more review this was quite different from what I've seen in most stop motion video's because most are claymation, this being one of the few stop motion I've seen using Human beings also the concept is really unique the music, voice matching is very professional.

Sound Editing
This week we had a first look on what Adobe Audition we were given samples of 7 sound files all with the same music but in different equalizer settings (frequency, gain). The objective of this exercise was for us to match the sound of the 6 different tracks to one of its original sound via the Parametric EQ effect.
Here are the 6 EQ we were assigned to Match.

Overall nothing much.
Here Is the Final Video
Progression Stop Motion Proposal
I examined the style of the First Video called Chain Bunny By Takena
and it goes on to have a certain type of cartoon approach to it but with a more mature horror feel and plot to it, the plot was Intriguing it's nice but I would change my style.
I hope to imitate a style similar to this Video here Below

Something simple and not really Complex for now as Mr. Martin advised it can have a simple plot to it and still be good stop motion.
